Explosion reported in Western Baghdad

Media sources on Monday morning reported the sound of an explosion in the western part of Baghdad. 

No further details have been released on the incident.

Iraqi sources reported that the blast took place despite the widespread deployment of security forces in the vicinity of Abu Ghraib prison.

This comes as the news sources reported on Sunday that Iraqi security forces have been deployed in areas near Abu Ghraib to prevent terrorist attacks.
